ABOUT ME
"All buried seeds crack open in the dark the instant they surrender to a process they can't see."
- Mark Nepo
I have always had a great appreciation for the humanity in people. It is a beautiful and complicated journey full of ups and downs. My partner and I battled infertility for seven years, and I too have journeyed through my own depths. I understand how hard, scary, humorous, and rewarding it can be to find our light in the darkness. I provide a safe, non-judgmental, collaborative space to help individuals, couples, families, and groups bring light to their lives and relationships.
I obtained my Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Regis University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the State of Colorado. I also hold a National Counselor Certification (NCC). I employ Gestalt, humanistic, mindfulness, and internal family systems therapeutic techniques, and incorporate my enhancing appreciation for mind-body connection. I also use guided imagery and meditation to aid in our work together. These techniques are meant to bring a calming awareness and perspective. The tenets of these techniques focus on the here and now, and work to create connection and wholeness
Outside of counseling I enjoy being near water, paddle boarding, somewhere in nature ,and relaxing with my family and our pets.
